Gioielleria Lopez

This is hands-down one of the most incredible secret establishments in Como. Firstly, because it’s located on Via Vitani, which is one of the most elegant, ancient streets around, and secondly, because it has the most exquisite jewellery – including vintage diamonds! To make it even better, there are also some small tables where you’re always welcome to sit down and taste a speciality tea or coffee handmade by owner Maria Grazia Lopez. Did we mention they also do the most incredible martinis?

Macelleria Da Luciano

Would you believe us if we told you this is George Clooney’s favourite butchery? Well, it’s true! But you’re not just there to rub shoulders with the local celebs; your visit should absolutely consist of an aperitivo accompanied by his cheese, prosciutto, and tartare. Definitely one to add to your list of Lake Como things to do.

Museo della seta Como

The Como Silk Museum is the only museum in the world able to show the visitor the entire production process, from silkworm to colorful yarns, from hand printing to fashion collections. The Museum collects, treasures, displays machines, objects, documents, samples and instruments witnessing the glorious past of the textile industry that still nowadays rewards Como as the “City of Silk”. The love and passion for silk have ancient origins, and nowadays, this technical and artistic heritage is organized in an educational area open to everybody.

Como Raku

Luca Mandaglio is a ceramist and researcher. In 2004 he founded the Atelier ComoRaku where he creates ceramics with professionalism and passion. He follows the idea of ​​combining tradition and innovation to represent nature, the main source of inspiration. He collects a selection of clays, stones and ashes that he uses in the preparation of glazes with unique chromatic effects. Aqua Dulza

If that’s what your heart desires, Aqua Dulza is here to deliver. A guesthouse turned B&B, this bar and bistro serves delicious, locally sourced meals from their Tremezzo location. Enjoy the food while learning about the building’s 200 year history.

Cantine Angelinetta

“Cantine Angelinetta”, located in Domaso on Lake Como, was born in 2008 from the will of the young Emanuele and Eleonora to transform what until then had been a family production inherited from the past into a small professional oenological reality. The cellar and the sales area with tasting are located inside the splendid villa of Professor Leo Miglio (son of Professor Gianfranco Miglio, an illustrious political scientist and pioneer of professional enology in the Como area), immersed in an incredibly evocative landscape.
